We are a growing digital marketing firm who hires freelance copywriters to write regularly for our clients. We are looking for writers who can write content that converts for a variety of products and services.
Our ideal copywriters know how to write content for websites, landing pages, marketing emails, video scripts and other messaging needs. Social media writing experience is a plus.
Our ideal copywriters can conduct calls with clients to understand their products or services and business objectives, then develop creative content that is on-point with the desired objectives.
Our ideal copywriters will have proven experience in writing content that converts. They know how to write headlines, subject lines and CTAs that get clicked. A background in journalism, public relations, marketing or communications is preferred.
We need writers who can:
- Interact professionally with clients and have a genuine desire to help them meet their objectives
- Adopt the unique voice of the client
- Understand the difference between copywriting and other forms of writing
- Collaborate with the client and our editors to ensure copy is meeting objectives
- Meet deadlines
- Are native English speakers
- Have some basic knowledge of best SEO practices such as using keyword phrases and subheadings
- Understand how to format content for readability such as concise sentences and paragraphs, and using bold font and bulleted or numbered lists to break up large blocks of text
- Know how to find images using free and pay image sites
- Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
- Knowledge of Infusionsoft is a plus
